In 1996, Christian Potma and Dr. Roy Mayer founded the engineering firm FlowMotion to serve as a link between technical universities and the industry. Their goal was to provide top-tier academic knowledge and tools—such as flow simulations (CFD: Computational Fluid Dynamics) derived from aerospace and mechanical engineering—while simultaneously addressing industry constraints regarding solution-orientation, applicability, timelines, and costs.

After nearly 30 years, more than 300 clients, and over 1,250 projects, we can state that our services enable our clients to realize and optimize their products or processes faster, more cost-effectively, and with less risk than would be possible without us. This can include, among other things, realizing a product idea, increasing production speed, minimizing waste, and even reducing maintenance costs.
